HFG was formed in May of 2000, resulting from a management-led buyout of the healthcare finance business of Daiwa Securities America.  HFG is headquartered in New York City's financial district, with additional offices in Los Angeles, Atlanta, Houston, Fort Lauderdale and Mt. Laurel, New Jersey.
