Mariner Health Care (now Sava Senior Care), one of the largest providers of long-term health care services in the United States, was acquired by National Senior Care, Inc. and taken private in late 2004. With 21 skilled nursing facilities located in southern and northern California, Mariner provides 24-hour care ranging from short-term rehabilitation therapy to quality long-term restorative nursing care.
