Sunwest Management, Inc. (SMI) was founded in 1991. SMI believes in the principle that providing professional management services for senior housing communities meets a critical need for a nation’s population that is aging gracefully in increasing numbers.  SMI recognizes and honors the fact that its elders have spent a lifetime of achievement and are now seeking leisure.  SMI's communities are designed to offer comfortable, home-like accommodations with an emphasis on a quality living experience.

Even from humble beginnings, SMI has realized strong demand for its abilities.  While SMI’s management services are consistently growing to meet demand, its communities have also expanded their offerings to now include retirement, assisted living, residential care and memory care.  SMI demonstrates our commitment by investing in the communities that it manages.  An additional advantage, of which it is very proud, is the ability to create more jobs for a growing nationwide employee base.
