UBS Investment Bank

The investment banking arm of UBS AG, Switzerland's largest bank, the company offers equities trading and research, mergers and acquisitions advice, foreign exchange trading, and financing to corporate, institutional, and government clients. UBS Investment Bank has offices in more than 35 countries in North America, Europe, Latin America (as UBS Pactual), and the Asia-Pacific region. It boasts the world's largest trading floor at its complex in Stamford, Connecticut.

UBS Investment Bank has exited the municipal securities, real estate and securitization, and certain commodities businesses, and announced plans to sell UBS Pactual; it is exploring the sale of other units. UBS also is separating the investment bank from its wealth and asset management divisions.
