Jason Smeck is Managing Director of Seniors Housing and Health Care for RED Mortgage Capital, LLC. His primary responsibilities include new business development for seniors housing loan production via FHA-insured, Fannie Mae, and bridge lending programs. Mr. Smeck has been with RED since 2001 and in his tenure has been deeply involved in all aspects of seniors housing financing, including analysis, structuring, underwriting, closing, origination and ongoing relationship management. He has been directly responsible for the origination and/or underwriting of over $1.0 billion in loan production encompassing FHA-insured, Fannie Mae and bridge loan structures. Mr. Smeck is a MAP-Approved and LEAN-Certified FHA Underwriter and is an expert in FHA seniors housing financing programs. He graduated cum laude from Ohio University with degrees in Finance and Business Management, and earned his MBA with a focus in Finance from The Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business.
