Steve Gilleland isa Director within the Healthcare Real Estate Group at CapitalSource.  Mr. Gilleland is responsible for developing financing opportunities for the long-term care industry, directing origination efforts, and the initial structuring of transactions. Mr. Gilleland has 16 years of healthcare real estate experience-specifically in the long-term care and senior housing industry-from a lending and operations perspective. Prior to joining CapitalSource, Mr. Gilleland was a Vice President of Business Development for Centennial Healthcare where he executed $300 million in long-term care and home healthcare transactions. Prior to his experience at Centennial Healthcare, he served as Director of Marketing for Healthcare Capital Finance/ PRN Mortgage Capital for five years where he originated and closed $225 million in long-term care mortgage financings. From 1987 to 1993, he was a manager and senior accountant with the accounting firms of Price Waterhouse and Bennett/Thrasher. Mr. Gilleland has served as a panelist at several industry-sponsored events discussing various long-term care and senior housing market topics. He is a non-practicing CPA and received his B.A. in accounting and finance from North Carolina State University.

Mike Monticello is a Managing Director in The PrivateBank's Commercial Banking group. He is responsible for developing relationships and managing a portfolio of commercial clients with a specialty in the Healthcare arena, specifically in skilled nursing and assisted and independent living. He is the day-to-day contact for clients with regards to their credit needs and serves as liaison for their other banking needs. Mike joined The PrivateBank in October, 2007. He has been active in the Healthcare market since 1989, when he joined the training program at American National Bank. Mike was a First Vice President/Division Head at American National, where he worked from 1989-2002. In 2002, he joined LaSalle Bank as a Senior Vice President/Division Head. He graduated with a B.S. in Finance from Marquette University and has an M.B.A. from DePaul University. Mike serves on the Board of Directors of The Emergency Fund and is a member of the Board of Advisors of Catholic Charities.

R. Buford Sears is a Senior Vice President for M&T Bank. Currently, he is the Area Executive for Connecticut, New Jersey, Philadelphia and Tarrytown. In addition, he serves as Senior Health Care Advisor to the Health Care line of business. Buford joined M&T in 1992 as Vice President of Canadian Banking. He has over 16 years’ experience at M&T, ranging from Manager of National Banking to Manager of Health Care to his present assignment. Prior to joining M&T, Buford held various management positions for Citizens & Southern National Bank including Manager of the European Representative Office (London), Area Manager for their International Division in Europe and Canada, and Manager of Middle Market Corporate Banking in Atlanta, Georgia. He was also Manager of Atlanta Private Banking for Nations Bank. Buford earned a BA in International Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MA in International Economics from Johns Hopkins University. In September 2007 Buford was named to the Roswell Park Cancer Institute Governance Board by NYS Governor, Eliot Spitzer. He is a trustee of the National Investment Center for the Senior Housing and Care Industry. He is past Chair and Emeritus member of the Board of Trustees of Hospice Buffalo, a former trustee of the Nichols School and the Niagara Health Quality Coalition, and past gubernatorial appointee to the New York Commission on Health Care Facilities in the 21st Century (Berger Commission).

Craig S. Jones became the Chief Executive Officer of Red Capital Advisors, LLC in 2008. He also is a member of RED CAPITAL GROUP’s Executive Committee and previously served as President of RED’s broker-dealer entity, Red Capital Markets, Inc. (MEMBER FINRA/SIPC). He joined RED’s predecessor entity in July 1997 and led the firm to become the top ranked Fannie Mae DUS Lender for Senior’s Housing Product (2003-2005). In his role as CEO, he will utilize all of his investment banking, mortgage banking and financial advisory experience and skills, honed over the last 25 years, to help continue RED’s Seniors Housing Group’s success and leadership in the industry, and to raise and manage third party debt and equity capital for investment in seniors housing and multifamily housing. In his career, Mr. Jones has been involved in designing and implementing in excess of $15 billion of taxable and tax-exempt financings, including more than $6.0 billion in the seniors housing sector, on projects ranging from single asset
skilled nursing facilities to multi-facility continuing care retirement community providers. Mr. Jones previously was a Principal and Co-Managed the Health and Long Term Care Finance Group at Alex Brown and Sons and was a Managing Director in the Health Care Group at Lehman Brothers from 1979-1994. Mr. Jones graduated with Honors from the University of Wisconsin and received his MBA at the University of Minnesota Graduate School of Management.
