Jon Harder, President and CEO of Sunwest Management, Inc., founded the company in 1991 with a portfolio of three properties: two retirement communities and one skilled nursing community. Currently, SMI manages some 280 communities nationwide. Mr. Harder became President and CEO of Sunwest and increased his ownership in the company in 1999. Prior to Sunwest, he was a nursing home administrator for Prestige Care from 1989-1991. He is a member of the American Senior Housing Association, the National Center for Assisted Living and the Oregon Health Care Association. Mr. Harder is a graduate of Walla Walla College in College Place, Washington.

Richard K. Matros has been the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Sun Healthcare Group, Inc. since 2001. Mr. Matros served as Chief Executive Officer and President of Bright Now! Dental from 1998 to 2000. He was also with Regency Health Services, Inc., a publicly held long-term care operator, as Chief Executive Officer from 1995 to 1997, as President and a director from 1994 to 1997, and as Chief Operating Officer from 1994 to 1995. Mr. Matros served Care Enterprises, Inc. as Chief Executive Officer during 1994, as President, Chief Operating Officer and a director from 1991 to 1994, and as Executive Vice President-Operations from 1988 to 1991. Mr. Matros currently serves on the board of directors of Bright Now! Dental and the board of directors of Vericare Management, Inc.

Bruce J. Mackey, Jr. is the Treasurer, Chief Financial Officer and Assistant Secretary of Five Star Quality Care, Inc. Mr. Mackey will be assuming the role of President and CEO of the company effective May 1st. He has served as Treasurer, Chief Financial Officer and Assistant Secretary of Five Star Quality Care since 2001. Prior to this, he was Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer of FSQ from 2001 until it was acquired by Five Star Quality Care, Inc. in January 2002. Mr. Mackey is a certified public accountant.

Patrick M. Hurst is the National Director of the Healthcare Investment Banking Group and a Managing Director in the Chicago office of Houlihan Lokey Howard & Zukin. Mr. Hurst has managed a wide variety of corporate finance and financial restructuring engagements in the healthcare industry. He has been involved in numerous transactions involving nursing homes, hospitals, managed care companies, home care agencies and other healthcare providers as well as medical product manufacturers. Mr. Hurst is also involved in the firm's investment banking activities including private placements of debt and equity capital and structuring shareholder liquidity and other recapitalization transactions. Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey he worked in the Consulting Group of Ernst & Young as well as a national consulting firm. Mr. Hurst is a frequent speaker on subjects of mergers and acquisitions, financing and restructurings in the healthcare industry.

Stephen M. Monroe, the audio conference moderator, is the managing editor and a partner at Irving Levin Associates, Inc. Established in 1948, Irving Levin Associates is a research and publishing firm that specializes in the seniors housing and health care investment markets, with several newsletters and acquisition reports. Mr. Monroe has been with the company for 20 years and has published more than 50 articles dealing with various aspects of investing in the health care and seniors housing arena. In addition, he is the editor of The SeniorCare Investor, a monthly newsletter, and The Senior Care Acquisition Report, an annual study of acquisition trends in the senior care market. In 2007, he spearheaded the launch of Senior Living Business, a monthly newsletter, and serves as its executive editor. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Monroe was a vice president of investment banking at Kidder, Peabody & Co. in New York City where he completed a variety of public equity, bond and merger and acquisition transactions.
