Crown MedRealty Partners ended 2025 with one final deal announcement. On December 30, the Kansas City, Missouri-based healthcare real estate firm announced the acquisition of a physician-owned, single-tenant, medical outpatient building (MOB) in Portland, Oregon.
Broadway Medical Clinic occupies the 35,419 square-foot facility. Founded in 1937, Broadway Medical Clinic is a multi-specialty provider offering a full spectrum of services, including primary care, pediatrics, dermatology, imaging and behavioral health services.
Founded in 2021, Crown MedRealty Partners acquires and sells medical offices across the country, manages medical office properties and develops new medical outpatient buildings. With more than $700 million in completed transactions of medical real estate to date, Crown’s managed portfolio includes more than 115 properties totaling 2 million square feet and spans across 24 states nationwide.
The facility was acquired via a long-term sale-leaseback transaction with Broadway Medical Clinic. This marks the second MOB acquisition in Oregon for Crown in the past 4 months, continuing to expand the firm’s footprint across the Pacific Northwest. Brian Hanson and Josh Bean of ETHOS Commercial Advisors represented the seller in this transaction. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
According to data in the LevinPro HC database, this transaction marks the 229th MOB deal of 2025. Throughout the year, MOBs accounted for almost 11% of the 2,149 healthcare transactions reported. There were 213 MOB transactions announced in 2024, and 199 announced in 2023. This deal also marks the third MOB to be purchased in Oregon since January 2025.
