NORWALK, CT – December 9, 2015- Eleanor B. Meredith, Publisher of Irving Levin Associates, was awarded the Gold Award as “Female Executive of the Year” in the business services category for small companies at the 12th annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business in New York City last month. She, along with Irving Levin Associates, was awarded Stevie Silver Awards for “Woman of the Year” and “Company of The Year”, respectively, in the small business services and company category.
This year’s competition received more than 1,400 entries from individuals and organizations from 24 nations. The Stevie Award placements were determined by five final judging committees, and more than 200 professionals from around the world participated in the judging process.
Eleanor Meredith stated, “Irving Levin Associates and I are honored to be joining this elite group of award winners. We’ve been strategically growing, innovating and expanding our operations and it’s great to be recognized for these accomplishments after 30 years in the business.”
Eleanor Meredith has served as an influential authority in healthcare finance for almost 40 years. Her years of successful entrepreneurship and her credentials attest to her understanding of strategic growth and innovation.
A graduate of Georgetown University in English Literature, with an MBA in Finance from Columbia University, Eleanor began her career in investment banking at Dillon Read and was a Vice President at PaineWebber. Eleanor has been a licensed principal of the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD), a member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI), and has held real estate and appraisal licenses in several states.
She transitioned from executive to entrepreneur in 1986 after taking ownership with her husband, Steve Monroe, of Irving Levin Associates, where she currently oversees business development and strategic direction.
