With more than 30 years of leadership experience in serving seniors, Rich is a sought-after expert who generously shares his gifts and vision with similar ministries across the nation. He has served as Chair of the board of the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (now LeadingAge), and has chaired the Life Services Network Association and the Health Resources Alliance boards. He has spoken extensively on issues affecting aging services, including Strategic Planning, Alliances, Technology, and Public Policy. Having earned his master’s degree in Health Administration from Governors State University, he periodically returns there to teach courses in Nursing Home Administration and Concepts of Long-Term Care. Rich also puts his faith into action by serving on his local church and school boards.

Melanie has been a professional communicator for more than 25 years, 7 of those with Providence Life Services. As Director of Communications for Providence, Melanie is responsible for messaging through traditional print media (ads, newsletters, brochures, etc.) as well as social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, blogs, Twitter, etc.) since Providence added social media to their marketing mix about 4 years ago. The Providence Communications team she is part of provides social media training and support for Skilled Nursing communities, Rehab services, Assisted and Independent Living communities, In-Home Care providers, and corporate staff. The team has won numerous awards from National Mature Media Awards for their work on collateral ranging from Annual Reports to direct mail appeals to videos. In addition to her work with Providence Life Services, Melanie has used social media to help churches, businesses, and individuals share their stories. She has done presentations on “Social Media Success,” “Social Media Ministry,” “Facebook for Business and Ministry,” “LinkedIn 101,” and “New Media to Enhance Your Marketing.”
